Rem’e – A Letter Home (2)

Mother-

I write you this morning from my room at a place called The Pipe and Pint in Amber. Much has happened since my last letter and though it would warm my heart to tell you all, I fear that my tales might prove to be too much excitement for your gentle nature. I remain safe and shall endeavor to remain so as always.

My new companions and I have been boarded here in town by a representative of the local government as a thanks for some trivial service we have provided. If you should have the inclination to write, your letter will surely find their way to me here.

Yours as always,
R

P.S.
I almost did not commit this to paper, things being as they are, but you will be happy to hear I have made the acquaintance of a young Halfling by the name of Kaino.
